Monica Vidal has an extensive career in financial services internationally. She is currently a partner at Lattice Capital Partners based in San Francisco helping connect institutional investors and family offices with private venture capital investments. From her company MVS Global Consulting Services she also provides advice to Spanish companies seeking to expand in the US and Latin America.
Prior to that she was the managing director of the Spanish Arcano group in New York in charge of business development in the Us and Latin America. Prior to Arcano, Monica worked at JP Morgan in New York where she was first head of Alternative Investments for Latin America and later part of the Financial Sponsors group. Prior to joining JP Morgan in NY, Monica was a managing partner at Alantra Group in Madrid in charge of the wealth management business.
Before Alantra, she held several positions as a portfolio manager for European securities in London, Madrid and Paris. She started her career in 1989 in Banco Santander in the emerging markets team
She is a member of the Global Business board at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a member of the board of trustees of El Museo del Barrio in New York.She has a BSc and MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros CUNEF in Madrid. She followed the Investment Management program at the London Business School in 2002. She also completed an Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford Business School in 2015.Monica is an active investor in start ups primarily related to fintech and consumer tech.
